Being a part of the Pony Club is about having fun and making friends, not just through riding, but also through activities the Branch runs such as camps, visits and social events.
Membership of the Pony Club is open to everyone up to the age of 25. It is the largest association of riders in the world, and has 344 branches with 50,000 members.
Joining The Pony Club means you will be a part of a really great organisation, UK wide, where you can get support with learning to ride, care for horses and ponies and take part in fun activities with other young people. There is also opportunity to take part in competitions if you wish, as well as work towards achievement badges and tests.
Your membership represents incredible value for money, with many lessons and activities at reduced rates, as well as providing you with Personal Liability Insurance (Third Party).

A taster session can be arranged, where you can come along to one of our rallies or lessons to experience what goes on before you become a member.
For new members:
To join our Branch you should have access to a horse or pony, by ownership or loan, and have the means to transport the horse or pony to and from rallies and events.
Members subscribe annually for a 12 month period, or can join part way through the year for a reduced fee. Joining after the 1st September and you will get the remaining months of 2018 free – no renewal until January 2020!

For renewing members:
Pony Club subscriptions now run from 1st February to 31st January.
In order for you to remain a member of the branch you will need to renew your membership by 31st January.
This also means that anyone who wishes to represent the branch at any Area Competitions has to now renew by the end of January.
Membership and insurance cover will automatically terminate if the subscription is not paid by February 29th.

Remember to fill in and sign the gift aid.
Transfers
If you you wish to transfer to our branch you should initially contact your District Commissioner who will arrange for the transfer request to be made.
Inter branch transfers are not usually permitted unless you have moved house and now fall into our catchment area.
