Two disciplines, one competition!
Combined training competitions consist of riders competing in two disciplines, dressage and show jumping. A competitor rides their dressage test, has a quick change of tack if needed, then they do a round of show jumping. Any faults in the show jumping section are deducted from their dressage score to provided a final score. In the event of an equal placing, the collectives from the dressage will decide the higher placing. Readers allowed for all classes.

What to wear:
It is mandatory for all Members to wear a protective helmet at all times when mounted with a chinstrap fastened and adjusted so as to prevent movement of the hat in the event of a fall.
Competition wear including gloves required for both phases. Jackets may be removed during warm up. During hot weather the judges may give permission for competitor’s to ride without jackets, but shirts must cover shoulders.
No jewellery is allowed for safety reasons, other than a wristwatch, a wedding ring, a stock pin worn horizontally, a tie clip and pony club badge.

Closing date for entries is Wednesday 25th May 2022
Times will be available on the Wheelton & District website on Thursday 26th May 2022

Entry Fee
Wheelton Pony Club Members £15 per class
Other branches, centres’ & non-members £20 per class

£5 refundable deposit required on the day for number bib
*Non Pony Club members must be able to provide details of their insurance

SPURS MAY ONLY BE WORN WITH THE WRITTEN CONSENT OF YOUR D.C.
Hats must be tagged and up to the current Pony Club standard

Parking on the car park for horseboxes and non 4×4 vehicles only
Please clear all droppings and hay from the car park
