Please make sure that you enter either lead rein or non-lead rein classes as appropriate
Correct Turnout for Pony & Rider.
All riders will be checked for turnout when the tack is checked in the warmup as per Pony Club rule book.
Equitation – COMPULSORY
CLASS 1: Any Age – Lead Rein
CLASS 2: 7 years and under
CLASS 3: 8 and 9 years
CLASS 4: 10 to 12 years.
Show Jumping
CLASS 5: Rider any age Poles on the floor
CLASS 6: Rider any age Jumps 30cm
CLASS 7: Rider any age Jumps 40cm
CLASS 8: Rider any age Jumps 50cm
Handy Pony
CLASS 9: Any Age – Lead Rein
CLASS 10: 7 Years and under.
CLASS 11: 8 and 9 years.
CLASS 12: 10 to 12 years
Young Handler
Class 13: Tiny tots handler – 7 years and under.
Class 14: Young handler – 8 and 9 years.
Class 15: Junior handler – 10 to 12 years.
RULES
Classes 1 and 9 are for Lead rein riders of any age Classes 2-4, 10-12, and 13-15 are for NON-Lead rein riders in the respective age groups Classes 5-8 are all for lead rein or non-lead rein riders. Riders competing on the lead rein must do so in all classes entered with no exceptions. Whips must not be carried in the Handy Pony class. Prizes and rosettes will be awarded in each class and age group. Age as on 1-1-2026. Any requests for Reasonable Adjustments should be submitted in writing two weeks before the competition, as per the pony club policy.

ENTRY FEES
£10.00 for Wheelton and District members and £11 for other Branches and Centre members in classes 1-8,
£8 for Wheelton and District members and £9 for other Branches and Centre members in classes 9-15
£5 refundable deposit required on the day for number bib
